10 minutes ago, I was sitting in Biology watching Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix. Anxiously waiting for the bell to ring so that there would be one less minute until the weekend. Making the mental list of things I have to do before school starts again on Monday.. relax, homework, laundry, sleep, basketball, church etc. Trying to not become overwhelmed by everything on my plate.
10 days ago, I was stressing out about classes, trying to figure out if I wanted to go through the process of switching my classes. I was listening to nothing but Christian music, and trying to make the most of every opportunity. I was following Colossians 4:2-6. I was trying to figure out how in the world I was going to start getting to school on time.
10 years ago, I was sitting at the kitchen table minding my own business making necklaces out of big wooden beads. I was playing soccer in the backyard with our neighbors grandkids. I was laughing with my sister, and creating art for the art wall that was in the kitchen. I was open-minded and free of mistakes, too busy playing with pink play-doh to worry about anything.
