Oh Love...

Love. Love is simple, aggravating, complex, heartbreaking, happy, sappy, and cheesy. Love is shown in actions, dancing on your Dad’s feet in the kitchen, sliding in your socks through the hallway with your mom, laughing during midnight bonfires with your besties.
I believe that love is hard. I believe that if you truly love someone/thing it will be one of the hardest things you do, because loving someone doesn’t always mean being with that person. You might have to love someone enough to walk away because you know that you’re not good for them.
I think that love is important and like happiness and hugs, it’s necessary, but I don’t think that it’s the ‘love’ that everyone thinks you need that you really need. I think the kind of love you need is the kind that you can be yourself with that you can laugh and be retarded around. You need a love that you can sing sappy love songs to, or eat endless bags of tator tots at three in the morning with.

Love gives you butterflies; it makes you happy, and is extremely cliché in most situations. Love comes from simple things, like laughter, and easiness, it’s something that you have to work to perfect, and in fact, love isn’t perfect. Its imperfectly perfect.

"If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe or what I do, I'm bankrupt without love." -1 Corinthians 13:3-7
